Hughes Planning has secured planning permission for ‘Castle View’, a fabulous new country house located within the countryside surrounding the village of Hallaton, Leicestershire, and within the setting of a Motte & Bailey Castle.
The proposal represents our 27th Para 84 house approval and our 4th to be approved in 2024.
Castle View comprises another successful collaboration with SEED Landscape Design and our first with Lyon & Co. Architects. Hughes Planning undertook an initial development appraisal in which we identified an opportunity to build a house on the site, and subsequently acted in the capacity of lead Planning Consultancy, directing the design team and navigating the application through to a successful conclusion. Planning permission was granted under delegated powers by Harborough District Council with Officers supporting the exceptional design quality of the scheme.
